Announcements:

·         We made it!!! This is the final full week of school! Great job 5^th grade!

·         This week will be full of tests! Please make sure you are taking extra time at night to study. The tests cover a lot more information.

·         We are doing our play, Goldilocks and the 3 Bears on June 13^th at 11:00 A.M. Parents please come if you can! It will only be about 15 minutes but it is a lot of fun!

·         We will be building a lot of our set for the play. Please send in any extra large pieces of cardboard that you have. That will be very helpful!

·         The school year is coming to a close and we are all getting a little anxious let’s just give it a strong ending!!

·         I will be assigning the Egg Drop Project this week! This is something they are to work on at home. We will be having our “DROP” day on June 3^rd.

·         No spelling pre-test this week!

·         The spelling list will be cut back a little bit this week due to the four day week.

·         I will be offering extra credit in Bible for any student who wants to say an extra review verse this week!

Announcements:

·         Field Trip- Wednesday @ The MOST museum. Students may dress down. They should pack a snack and lunch!

·         There are many tests that are scheduled this week due to the Memorial Day break cutting off some our routine. As a result I will be reducing the amount of hw the students have significantly so that they can mainly focus on studying and reviewing.

·         Please get your permission slips in for the Seabreeze and order forms for the yearbook ASAP!

·         Just a reminder to keep sending in your BOX TOPS and LABELS! We have many this month and would love some more!

 

·         It is a crazy week with many tests so there is NO SPELLING TEST or HW this week. We will be reviewing and practice words in class but there is no exam.

·         At the end of the year in 5^th grade I do a play with the kids, usually a child’s fairytale that we put on for the younger kids. It is our last unit for reading- details to come soon! Each child will have a part. It is very fun and I will keep you posted.

·         NO SCHOOL MAY 24^TH AND 27^TH
